Cherry Hill Kids is a fun, safe place where children 6 weeks old to 5th grade can learn about Jesus.
Our mission is to care for children in an environment where they can experience a true and loving God.
Jesus is the center of Cherry Hill Kids and we believe that children need to hear and understand the good news of the gospel. Each week we learn about a Bible event as we journey chronologically through the Bible. We seek to find Jesus in every Bible lesson. We hope that as children grow up in Cherry Hill Kids, they don’t just memorize Bible facts, but believe that God loves them and wants what is the very best for them throughout their life.
We hope that while children are at Cherry Hill Kids, they will have an amazing time with other children and our awesome volunteers while learning about Jesus in meaningful ways. But Kids Ministry isn’t just for children — it’s for parents too! Deuteronomy 6:5-9 says we are to love the Lord with all our heart and to impress those truths upon our children.
Our desire is that Cherry Hill equips parents and then parents become the primary discipler of their child(ren). We believe that the one hour a week your child is in Cherry Hill Kids is not enough. We desire for our families to carry out the discipling message for the remainder 168 hours of the rest of the week.
Every week, children will hear a lesson about the gospel told in kid-friendly language in a fun, safe environment. On your first visit, follow the sign at the front to the Kids check-in area. Because we value safety, parents will check in every child being dropped off at Cherry Hill Kids.
Make your way to the check-in area and check your child into Cherry Hill Kids. Every child taking part in Cherry Hill Kids will need to be checked in and out using the check-in system. On your first visit, we’ll need some family information including full names of you and your children, birthdays, phone number, email, and any special instructions (allergies, etc.). After your child has been checked in, you may escort or send your child upstairs to join the class.
Cherry Hill Kids is available 15 minutes before the service (10:15am). You may pick up your child directly following the close of the service.
Kids will have an amazing time as they play together, connect with friends, explore together, and worship God. We have a large group format and welcome kids from preschool to 5th grade. Jesus is the center of Cherry Hill Kids! We believe that children need to hear and understand the good news of the gospel. Each week your child will hear a Bible story in a hands on, interactive lesson presented in kid-friendly language.
We recognize that God has entrusted us with the ministry and safety of children while they are in our care. We want every environment a child is in to be the safest it can be so that children have the opportunity to grow in their knowledge and love of the Lord. Each environment is supervised by multiple volunteers who have gone through an intensive onboarding process that includes an application, in-person interview, background check, policy training, and sexual abuse awareness training.
We have two safe and fun spaces designed just for the little ones. Our infant room (birth to crawlers) is full of baby oriented toys, as well as a changing table and crib. The toddler room will welcome toddlers through preschool age children. Please label all personal items with your child’s name before you come. We will text you if your child needs you at any time throughout the service.
